This album feels eternal, simultaneously feeling like it belongs anywhere and everywhere between the late '70s and today, effortlessly jumping between Devo-esque new wave and '90s indie rock with perfect results. Every single track whips ass. 10/10 AOTY. Conor

There are certain people who have never been real children and will never be real adults.
The Street Eaters sound is like those people: not entirely new, but it seems like it can never get old. Thanks to bands like them Punk is undead and has crested hair! Zombie Punk: cool! 4nzu

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
